We are well into the second quarter of 2016; this means that the I-FourC Social Fund is back in action! With the Social Fund, I-FourC supports charities with a financial contribution every quarter. This is possible because our employees donate a percentage of the profit distribution to the Social Fund, the total of which is then doubled by the directors. This allows us to contribute to society in our own way!

The following go-getters entered sporting battles for charity. On behalf of the entire team at I-FourC we wish these people the best of luck!

Climbing against MS

Team Suus for Pet will climb the Mont Ventoux for her husband who suffers from MS.

Fight against ALS

Piet Boonen from Reuver will figth against ALS for a loved one. He will take part in a 2km-long swim in the river Maas.

Team25 is taking part of the Roparun for the 18th time, a relay-race from Paris and Hamburg to Rotterdam. They are raising money for people with cancer.

Alpe d’Huzes – Giving up is not an option

Roland Naber uses his healthy body to fight against cancer by climbing the Alpe d’Huzes.

In addition to the above mentioned sporting achievements that the participants will partake in, another charity will receive a donation from I-FourC:

Hospice Foundation Mariaweide Venlo

This Hospice is a ‘home away from home’, where people can take their last road according to their own wishes and with the best care and support.

Do you know any good initiatives or charities that can use the help of a financial donation? Feel free to put your suggestions forward to Lindy Simons {link: l.simons@i-fourc.com}, chairwoman of the Social Fund. Who knows, maybe we can contribute to them in the next quarter!
